The problem isn't scarcity. It's visibility.
Resources people need often already exist close by: spare water, unused goods, a missing pet someone nearby has seen. The shortfall isn't always supply. It's visibility between people who have and people who need, when it matters.
About 2.2 billion people still lack safely managed drinking water, and more than 2 billion live under water stress (WHO / UNICEF, UN-Water). Nearby doesn't supply resources. It makes the connection between what exists and who needs it next, in real time.
